The Features of WikMail
The Mail Client
Your Best emailing experience - By Far!
I can point out and provide tips on some of the features of WikMail. However, there are so many great features that it becomes impossible for me to cover them all here. So as always, I would ask you to explore the program by clicking all the tabs and trying out all the tools that will make your emailing the best you have ever experienced.
The WikMail Engine Room
The above screenshot shows the WikMail Mail Client. This is were you will normally look to read received emails. You can organize how you want to have your messages displayed, and create, delete or rename your mail boxes.
The mailboxes list is displayed on the left side of the main window. To access a mailbox, just click on the mailbox name to access it.

The Inbox
By default, every message received is saved in this mailbox. However, this behavior can be modified according to the mail accounts settings, the messages rules, email to mailbox assignment and/or spam rules. So you have the oportunity to say where a mail is stored when it arrives by adjusting the settings in the WikMail Mlail Client.
Main Menu
You can access a lot of the WikMail behind the scenes properties from the Main Menu tab indicated by the red arrow in the screenshot.
Go behind the Tabs
There really is a cave full of 'buried treasure' behind this Main Menu Tab. You need to allocate some time so you can properly explore all the tools. Taking time now will same more time later. I have discovered so much more in WikMail by simply clicking on each tab and playing with the capabilities within each one.
Try this one by navigating to Main Menu/Utilities/Just for Fun....here you will find some games to use in a break from more serious work on your computer.
At the moment there are 4 games here. Solitair, Bug Squishin, Catch the Butterflies and Sudoku.
Change the Skin on Your WikMail
You might get tired of looking at the same colors in your WikMail program but with a variety of WikMail specialy designed skins you can have a different color for your Wikmail every day or when you feel like a change.
It is easy to have a fresh new look in your WikMail. Just collect some new skins from WikMail Home Site or from other great WikMail sites on the Internet like Seseni Designery
When you have built a collection of skins you can easily change to a new one in your collection by clicking on the "Main Menu" tab. Select "Change - Install Skins" and choose the skin from the list as shown on the left. When you see the one you want, displayed in the WikMail Skins window, click on "Change". Your WikMail program will now be skinned with the Skin choice you selected.Look at the screen shot of the top of my Mail Client shown below. As you can see, the skin colors will be adopted by WikMail (see the red arrows) so that when a tab is clicked or you hover the mouse over a tab the color will match the skin color you have chosen. Colors may be out a bit in my screenshots because of how I optimized and saved them.
I also tried to match the time zone clocks from the large selection available by navigating in the Mail Client to Settings/Program Settings/Animated Flash Addons. The selected email can also be highlighted with matching color by going to Settings/Program Settings/Windows Look & Feel and in the Grids area if you put a check in the box titled 'Use Hollow Cursor', the email details will have an outline color as shown in my screenshot. However, if you do not check the box the message will have a solid color behind the text. WikMail also lets you select the Theme color or Red to highlight the email details.
Enable Protect on Junk Mailbox
When Protect is enabled.. all links are disabled in emails received, images are not displayed and all other things than can be harmful are disabled. At the same time, emails dropped in the Junk Mailbox cannot be harmful in any way when this is enabled. When you receive Junk Mail you can drag it into the Junk Mailbox. The more of these you put in your Junk Mailbox the better WikMail works at recognizing Junk Mails.
Anti Phishing
This is a security option. Make sure you add protection by checking "Enable Anti-Phishing" as shown in the Settings tab. Email messages can contain fraudulent methods in order to get personal information from you. For your security, we strongly suggest that this option is enabled. WikMail is set by default to warn you when there are clickable links etc in mails that could be harmful if clicked. You can disable this setting or when you know the site is safe and you can trust any links displayed, then you can display the message normally by clicking on the 'Links' button on the right side at the top of the message preview.
Block Mail Trackers Code
Some people hire others to track emails. Unfortunately the tracking of the email is not just when it was opened and how many times.The tracker can also collect lots of personal details that you have not approved. Why should any company be able to gather any information when you have not given clear permission for them to do so? WikMail can identify these emails and block them when you check "Block Email Trackers" in Settings in your WikMail Client. When an email arrives that carries this mail tracking code WikMail recognizes it and asks you if you want the tracking to be allowed. So you have the option of saying Yes or No.
Attachments
Just remember, that it is very easy to 'invite' a virus into your computer, simply by opening an attachment sent in an email from someone you do not know. People who send these attachments choose words in the mail or subject line, that trick you into believing it is from a friend or someone you know. So be alert, and never open an attachment unless you are absolutely sure that it is safe to do so.
